Today Taxes  are due.

This  is  my  Blog   USDebtNOmore  which i started in 2006 .

I happened to find this blog today . 

So, since US  is deciding about the DEBT CEILING  , it is appropriate that i write something here.

I am amazed that  President Biden does not consider  asking  Secretary Yellen to  use this opportunity TO  MINT the famous  PLATINUM  COIN  .

I first heard about it in Dec 2012  when President Obama was in the White House.

I really fell in love with that idea !  Why? 

Because this blog that i started in 2006  , is NAMED  

USDebt NOmore.blogspot.com   

it means that i have been worried about the US Debt and found this IDEA of the PLATINUM COIN  could Save US a lot of Headaches  

in the WORLD HISTORY of NATIONAL  DEBT  , every Nation has fallen into Debt and SOME NATIONS  were FORGIVEN their  DEBT .  

So,  ALL Nations could use the IDEA of MINTING  PLATINUM COINS  to be deposited in their  CENTRAL Bank or  as in US  the FEDERAL  RESERVE.

In 2012  , i actually  went on the WHITEHOUSE.Gov site to suggest to President Obama 

to use ONE PLATINUM COIN  of 1TRILLION  Dollars to take care of the STUDENT  DEBT  

which happened to be 1 Trillion Dollars in 2012

One day , i heard in the NEWS  that  reporters  had asked about the  Platinum Coin , Bernanke  and President Obama  had "SHOT IT DOWN"

That made me so sad !

Here we are in 2023  MORE  than 10  yrs  later 

Nothing has been done to relieve US DEBT , and they cannot even extend the US DEBT CEILING. 

Even though The NEW REPUBLIC  published an article titled 

" MINT  THE  TRILLION DOLLAR PLATINUM COIN , DARK BRANDON "

 SO again   I  am  SAD

Smerconish on CNN said that 44 % of  us  are Independents and we need  a space ?

Well , NO  LABELS organization just collected 70 Million dollars  and that is their point .

Nothing else. NO GUTS to declare what they BELIEVE IN  

Do they believe in HELPING DEMOCRACY Flourish or just plan to DIVIDE those who believe in DEMOCRACY 

PS This morning  @MSNBC announced BREAKING NEWS of 

TRUMP    announcing that he was going to be INDICTED on Tuesday  and that PEOPLE should be PROTESTING to TAKE BACK AMERICA 

VIOLENCE   announced  and  i ask WHO DID the LEAK  from NY AG office ?

WHY  did they give TRUMP  a 3 days  to get his supporters  to PLAN A RIOT ?

@FBI should immediately be ready  also the @TheJusticeDept

The issue of US DEBT has been on my mind , and as you can see by the name of this BLOG.

US CONGRESS keeps fighting over the DEBT CEILING  every year

The New Republic recently had a good article about the IDEA  of  The PLATINUM COIN

It was mentioned first in 2012  when President Obama had to tackle the US DEBT and the Raising of the DEBT Ceiling.

Unfortunately in 2012  when Federal Reserve Mr Bernanke was asked about it , he shot it down. So I assume that was why President OBAMA  shot the idea down too.

Now , in 2023  11 yrs later the ISSUE of the DEBT CEILING is not resolved.

Throughout History , how many times has the WORLD  forgiven the DEBT of SOME Countries ?

How POLLOCRACY is screwing our DEMOCRACY

YOU all must have heard the POLL Numbers on MSNBC , CNN  FOX

If you believe those Poll numbers , then you must be thinking that  JOE BIDEN  is the worst POTUS  after Trump

Joe Biden has been unbelievably generous in his  Build Back Better Agenda to give back  a Little of the American Dream lost for years  for so many American Families

So, i have to ask :  Are Americans so UNGRATEFUL ?  Where are the Parents of those kids who have been brought out of Poverty ?  Already in his   American RESCUE  PLAN ?

NO, i cannot believe the POLL Numbers  or their Accuracy . 

 POLLS that are UNCERTIFIED  UNAUDITED  SECRET QUESTION Sample Size and Survey Methods all  unknown or UNCHECKED and so MUCH BELIEVING .

These days  , I remember George W BUSH  saying  : 

  "YOU can MAKE POLLS say ANYTHING YOU WANT " 

On May 4, 1991  my letter to the Editor  of  ANN ARBOR NEWS  was Published  .

The TITLE  they Chose  was   "  SAY  NO  To  AMERICAN  POLLOCRACY "  

I had to Coin that WORD because of the INFLUENCE of POLLS on the MORALE of the VOTERS during the ELECTION Cycle.   I wanted to WARN  Americans to be AWARE of that influence.

I hoped Americans would NOT  ALLOW  POLL Numbers to Make them SIT HOME if the Candidate of their choice had LOW  POLL Numbers

Because the Psychological effect  is  that  WELL  He is going to lose , so why should i bother to go and Vote for him.  I will be twice disappointed  ie Now  and after the Results announce him as LOSER

Tonight POLLOCRACY at WORK again

I had not intended to write tonight

But i received an Email  saying    POLL  showing   Biden ,Trump tied in Potential 2024 Match-Up

That was a dangerous way to think  and i decided to come here and  remind everyone of the Political Tern i had coined over 20 years ago 

POLLOCRACY    the power of the POLLS  to influence and undercut   DEMOCRACY

That was in a letter to the Editor  of  ANN ARBOR NEWS  pubblished on May 4,1991 

The  Editorial Board  had titled it :  SAY  NO  to  AMERICAN  POLLOCRACY

At first  i was not happy about THEIR  choice of  adding AMERICAN

Now , 20 years later i think perhaps they added  American because they knew no other Nation uses POLLING in such a way .

After all they knew i had written another letter about  TED KOPPEL 's  question to DUKAKIS  13 days before Nov 1988 Election
